FEATURES LAST VERIFIED · AUGUST 2026

Field operations software built around how specialty trades verify, coordinate and install work.

Most construction platforms organize projects, documents and tasks. Praxon connects actual field conditions to measurements, room readiness, materials, labor, installation and office reporting, on one record.

The room, not the assumption
Verification is a structured step with a record, not a note in someone's phone.
One record, field to office
What the crew captured is what operations sees and what the report says.
Built for no signal
Work continues offline, and the sync status tells the truth about what landed.

01 / WHY PRAXON IS DIFFERENT

Six things that follow from the operating model

Procore, Fieldwire, Raken, Autodesk and Trimble are strong at managing projects and documenting the jobsite. Praxon is built for the shop that measures the room, fabricates the work and installs it. These six differences come from that.

Structured room and scope verification
Confirming the room against the drawing is a defined step with its own record and review queue, not a checkbox on a task.
Field CAD based on actual measurements
The room is drawn from dimensions an installer can take with a tape, including curved walls and round columns.
Measurement provenance
Whether a dimension was field-measured, derived or read off the drawing stays visible for the life of the job.
Room readiness connected to the work
Materials received, issues open and verification state all move the same readiness signal for that room.
Specialty-trade scheduling and execution
Planning happens at room and scope level, where a crew actually installs, with the cause of a slipped date captured when it slips.
Offline work with an honest sync status
The queue is visible, failures are named in plain language, and a photo is deleted locally only after the server confirms it.

02 / WHAT PRAXON DOES

Ten connected field workflows

Ten workflows that run from field verification and measurement, through fabrication readiness, into installation and back out as office reporting. Open a group to see the capabilities inside it and their current status. The complete catalog sits at the bottom of the page.

03 / HOW PRAXON COMPARES

The criteria a specialty contractor actually buys on

Twenty-two criteria, including the ones where these platforms are stronger than Praxon. Competitor entries come only from official product pages, help centers and pricing pages reviewed in August 2026.

“Not identified in reviewed materials” means we did not find the capability in the documentation we reviewed. It is not a claim that the platform lacks it. Nothing here is marked with a red X.

IN DEVELOPMENT 04 / WHAT WE ARE BUILDING NEXT

Three directions, none of them available yet

These are in development. They are not purchasable, not included in any count of what Praxon does today, and they do not appear in the comparison above at all.

Connected digital measurement tools
Sending a measurement from a compatible tool straight into the field record, instead of typing it.
LiDAR-assisted room capture
Capturing the room as it was actually built, alongside the measurements the crew takes.
3D as-built workflows
Working the proposed assembly against the space that exists, before anything is fabricated.

05 / METHODOLOGY AND SOURCES

How this comparison was built

Praxon claims come from a read-only audit of the application. Competitor claims come only from official product pages, help centers and pricing pages current during August 2026.

01Native is used only where official material directly identifies the capability in that product.
02Add-on or tier means the capability is real but restricted by plan level or sold as a separate module.
03Integration means the capability depends on a connected product rather than the compared platform alone.
04Limited means an adjacent capability exists but is narrower than the criterion it sits on.
05Not identified in reviewed materials is never rendered as an absolute no.
06Live is fully available as described. Limited means a narrower or qualified version is available today. Pilot is available only to selected pilot users. In development is not currently available or purchasable.

Comparison information is based on official public product and help documentation reviewed in August 2026. Features, packaging and availability can change.

See how Praxon fits your field operation.

Bring a job you are running now. We will walk your rooms, your drawing set and your install sequence, and show you where Praxon would sit in it. If it is not a fit, we will say so.

Built for owners and operations leaders at shops that fabricate and install their own work. In pilot with specialty trade shops now; general access opens Q4 2026.
